I love this emotion filled post. It def had me thinking as I have a 16 year old (and a 5 year old). In which in raising them, they both received a different version of a mother (of me).
I feel guilty for not having the ability to have a financially free path setup for my daughter. I feel guilty for being too much of a parent, and not just letting her be. I feel guilty for the days she doesn’t want to hang out with us……
Yet the days she comes and just chats with me. Or asks to go eat somewhere (just us)…I live for them.
