This is wonderful advice. I am working on reading more as a 2023 life change. I read 4 books in H1 2023. I had never read 4 books in a full year!! Thank you for your great thoughts Kelly. I look forward to your message every Sunday and my wife listens too now.
Oh my gosh. What a wonderful question. I saw a quote today that was something like: “never fail to undervalue someone who recommends music”
I take recommendations. From humans, ai, movies, anywhere.
One of the best things that has happened to me this decade is my son and one of his friends started a playlist for the three of us. A few times a week one of us recommends a new song. As you can imagine, that brings me immense joy.
I too get most of my music from friend/relative recommendations. I have not done the family playlist like you have with your Son but I love that. 5 years ago when I was deep in my Ironman training, and running way too much, my Son created a running playlist that is all up beat, rock and pop music I like and it helped me deal with the boredom of running.
Celebrating wisdom, purpose and joy!! ❤️
Always a great way to start my Sunday , my week. Thank you Kelly ,
Be well.
Thanks Andy. Glad you are here.
Books are my favorite items to give as gifts 🤗 (& receive 😉)
Love these tips, Kelly ( as a fellow bibliophile 📚)
Top hacks for tracking quotes, building lists to read? What's the workflow? :)
Nice one Kelly!!

On a side note, how did you pick out your music?
