Really enjoyed their conversation too - thanks for sending. And, thanks for the quality notes and summary here. To my mind, the tallest peaks of their conversation were:

We're not truth seeking animals. That point is punchy and it resonates like something under all our noses we actively avoid paying attention to and behave as if it were false. Could it be the ultimate competitive advantage to craft teams and orgs with norms that seek truth?

The other peak was the norm to make space to wonder! I was captivated by the clear view Jeff made on creating cultural behaviors to cultivate new things (fragile but "something there" things) with time (most mtgs don't have a predetermined end - what?) and meeting norms (memo + time to read and debate in mtg). To what degree have we limited and contained the potential in our organizations by our commitments to hard stops?

BTW, love the outside, locked camera, video with notes here!

agree on the memo...we have tried it and failed and i'm taking us back there. I will share here too i think. "Memos are hard on the writer, easy on the reader. Powerpoint is easy on the writer, hard on reader."

Thanks for the note here :)

Good morning Kelly. Your read on Bexos' interview was great as always. We try and use the meeting agenda planning across our org.

This might be out of left field, but I am in Manhattan today through Thursday for meetings (I work in the Multifamly space and Beam Living and Livcor were clients of ours at my last company.) and would love to share a coffee if you have time. Let me know if you are available and we can connect on LinkedIn.
