Kelly, I am obsessed with your insights and observations. Kudos to you on building an effective organization where the leaders view their role as serving their employees and customers. I have shared your podcast with everyone I know personally and professionally. I love it. Also, give yourself a break, I’m sure you are an outstanding Dad. IMHO work life balance is a myth- if you can integrate work and life and “be where your feet are” you have truly achieved success. Flexibility is the best ability!

I would also love to recommend another book “We should not be friends”. The concepts in this book often remind me how unlikely friendships and work relationships often lead to diversity of thought and wonderful organizations. Thank you for sharing.

If I had a blog* -- instead of quoting Peter Drucker, I would quote Kelly Vohs.

*or wrote a book or launched a podcast...or even had an organized approach to Twitter...

We appreciate the taste! Teams. TEAMS! LEADERSHIP!

The insight you shared does move me to read the book. How would a superior or mentor interpret receiving the book as a gift?

I assume there's a ton of insight within the book, but I would hate to give a great leader a book about executive leadership.
