Thank you for this, Kelly. I agree with the sentiment around leadership completely. I already align with being present and with gravitating to the areas of life that aren’t easy. But I love the margins and circle exercise to illustrate that. I’ve listened to this a few times and shared this concept with my team at Salesforce:
-Embrace the 1% Mentality for Personal and Team Growth-
The "1% lens" encourages moving beyond comfort zones to the margins, where growth and excellence occur. For any one person, this means embracing discomfort, failure, and effort to achieve personal potential. For our full team, it means setting bold goals and encouraging members to strive for continuous improvement. As leaders, it’s our duty to motivate the team by modelling this mindset, leading by example and showing that it's okay to take risks and fail in pursuit of growth– as long as the lessons are shared and applied.

This really resonated with me 🙏🏻
“ I need to go from doing what most will do to doing what almost no one will do.
The farther we go from the crowd, the scary it gets - it’s lonely out there.
Potentially, it means being “weird,” looking foolish, failing, and asking for help.
You can stay in that center, that comfortable…”
Thanks again! ⭐️
Thanks Amanda. ☺️ always glad to hear when something landed. Hope you’re good.
